Ken Kraemer

As the executive director of the CLMC and Building Advantage, Kraemer promotes the cooperation between labor and management on issues affecting the union construction industry, as well as working toward securing more work.

Kraemer's strong background derives from all aspects of the construction industry. After serving for more than 25 years in various roles – as a journeyman with Steamfitters Local 601, a lobbyist with the Wisconsin Pipe Trades Association, and a union contractor, Kraemer has established himself as strong resource on labor and management relations.

Kraemer's professional growth is supplemented by his dedication to staying on top of industry developments. He has participated in numerous industry-specific gatherings, such as the Building Trades Legislative Conference, the National Pipe Line Conference, the United Association Conference, and the National Labor Law Training Program with the American Bar Association.

Kraemer's commitment to protecting the interests of union laborers and contractors is propelled by strong leadership and organizational skills. As a results-driven leader, Kraemer constantly strives to improve the collaborative process between management, labor and government.
