Contractor associations play a critical role in the construction industry, and as such, PMC/SMACCA works continually to improve upon the services they provide to their members and ensure that they are a valuable resource to business owners and their workers. We are excited to announce that PMC/SMACCA’s efforts were recognized by the Daily Reporter this year and they will be honored at the upcoming 2015 Newsmakers of the Year awards.
The Daily Reporter recently announced its winners for the 2015 Newsmakers of the Year awards, and we are proud to say that the vast majority are Building Advantage members! Congratulations to all of our constractors and tradespeople who were selected; below is a list of all of this year’s winners. The 2015 Newsmakers of the Year will be honored at an awards ceremony on Thursday, October 22nd; more details on the event can be found here.
It’s been a while since we’ve sent out an update on our Executive Board of Directors at Building Advantage. Our Executive Board is made up of six labor and six management representatives, along with five industry advisors from across southeastern Wisconsin. Together, we work on issues of mutual concern for both sides ranging from getting our members back to work to recruiting our future workforce.
