Building Advantage is very excited to introduce the newest appointment to our Executive Board, Joel Zielke, Business Manager of Steamfitters Local 601. As of January 1st, Zielke replaced Sheet Metal Workers Business Manager Pat Landgraf, who retired from the board after serving several terms.
The Daily Reporter recently announced its winners for the 2015 Newsmakers of the Year awards, and we are proud to say that the vast majority are Building Advantage members! Congratulations to all of our constractors and tradespeople who were selected; below is a list of all of this year’s winners. The 2015 Newsmakers of the Year will be honored at an awards ceremony on Thursday, October 22nd; more details on the event can be found here.
It’s been a while since we’ve sent out an update on our Executive Board of Directors at Building Advantage. Our Executive Board is made up of six labor and six management representatives, along with five industry advisors from across southeastern Wisconsin. Together, we work on issues of mutual concern for both sides ranging from getting our members back to work to recruiting our future workforce.
