Steamfitters Local 601 Break Ground on New Training Facility

On Thursday, August 11th, Steamfitters Local 601 held a groundbreaking ceremony for their long-anticipated new training facility in Madison, WI. The $12.3 million training center was designed by Potter Lawson Architects, and will be built by construction manager Hunzinger Construction Company. “As a proud union contractor since 1907, we are honored to have been selected by the Steamfitters Local 601…to deliver a project that will transform their Apprenticeship Training and will have a positive impact on the skilled labor force throughout Wisconsin,” said Jim Hunzinger, Executive VP of Hunzinger Construction.

Carpenters Open House – Saturday May 30th

The Chicago Regional Council of Carpenters Apprentice and Training Fund is hosting an Open House Event on Saturday, May 30th from 9am-2pm at their Training Center, N25 W23055 PAUL ROAD, PEWAUKEE, WI 53072. Local 599 Cement Masons Celebrate Apprenticeship Graduates

On Friday, March 20th, the Cement Masons Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee held their 41st annual Apprenticeship Banquet celebration honoring their 2015 graduates. The banquet, which was sponsored by the Milwaukee Area 558 Apprenticeship Committee, recognized graduating apprentices Guadalupe Lezama, of Elastizell of Wisconsin, Inc., and Charles Hardy, who is working for Middleton Construction, Inc.
