The Milwaukee Building Trades hosted the second annual Career Day at Lynde and Harry Bradley Technology and Trade High School on November 16th, 2016.
This event provided students with hands-on experience and introductions to careers in the union construction industry. Twelve union trades helped over 300 students from various area high schools participate in hands-on construction activities, including welding, bricklaying, and painting.
Dan Bukiewicz, President of the Milwaukee Building and Construction Trades Council, was on hand to answer any questions the students had about careers in the trades. “It’s important that we continue this kind of outreach to students – they are the future of this industry,” he said.
