2012 Building Advantage Career Fair
Even though we are facing difficult economic times and high unemployment rates, the union construction industry has always focused on the future — introducing the trades to younger generations. We will host the 2012 Building Advantage on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at the Waukesha County Expo Center.
As always, the event will include hands-on demonstrations from nearly 20 different construction trades and the opportunity to talk with apprentices, journeymen and other individuals in the industry. Students are given the opportunity to ask questions about what a career in the trades entails, how to take the first steps towards an apprenticeship and what a day in the life of a trades person looks like.
