Wrapping Up the Job Site Tour for the Holidays
As winter sets in, the Power of One job site tour has concluded for the 2007 season. Building Advantage spent the spring and summer making visits to local job sites in an effort to thank union employees for their hard work and dedication, and to reiterate the high quality standard expected by union trades.
The job site tour was a great success. Building Advantage was able to meet with hundreds of union workers, and tell them all what a great job they were doing on their respective projects.
The Power of One tour visited six job sites in Southeastern Wisconsin, including the Milwaukee City Hall, River Renaissance, Columbia St. Mary's Hospital, Northwestern Mutual, Wheaton Franciscan Hospital, and the Harley-Davidson Museum. Almost 1,000 trades workers were treated to lunch from local eateries, a Building Advantage T-shirt and other items to help them promote union construction.
The well-attended events have been a wonderful way of showing Building Advantage's support for union trades workers, but there is still much work to be done.
Topp believes that each individual worker is the key to the future success of union trades. “We hope that the real message received through these events is that union workers are the best in the trades industry, and we must continue to prove that through our quality craftsmanship and on-time, on-budget projects.”
The Power of One means that every person on your crew has the ability to impact the overall success of your projects. Building Advantage exists to promote the work that union trades workers do as the highest standard of excellence.
The job site tour will resume in Summer 2008 and will visit several more job sites in Southeastern Wisconsin. If you would like to schedule a visit for your union job site, please contact John Topp at (262) 229-5959.
