Union Construction Career Fair
The Union Construction Career Fair will be taking place on March 24, 2009 at the Waukesha County Expo Center.
The career fair is an opportunity for any individual interested in the trades to see firsthand what union construction has to offer. There will be onsite demonstrations by many of the Milwaukee construction unions, as well as people on hand from each union to discuss apprenticeships and careers. CG Schmidt VPP Certification
Congratulations goes out to CG Schmidt on its recent certification in the Voluntary Protection Programs (VPP) OSHA's highest form of public/private partnership. Less than 100 construction companies nationwide have earned this distinction, and CG Schmidt is the first in Milwaukee to do so. Only one other firm in the state of Wisconsin holds the VPP certification. Building Advantage is proud that CG Schmidt recognized the work of the union trades people
to help make this safety partnership possible.
