Preparing for a Hot Summer
Welcome to the second issue of The Power of One, your quarterly resource for Building Advantage news and the voice of your industry.
With summer right around the corner, the busy season is upon us – and it is projected to be a demanding one. Based on economic indicators, construction in Southeastern Wisconsin should remain strong. The hope is that with several major union projects starting up and others on the horizon, we will have a banner year.
Building Advantage and its industry partners have been going full-speed to prepare for the summer swing. In this issue, we'll address some of the ways Building Advantage is working for you, including an update on our new advertising campaign to promote union construction.
We'll also fill you in on our upcoming Power of One job site tour, a new Building Advantage union financing program for developers, and the latest news about how Building Advantage members make a difference in our communities.
Please remember that what you do every day makes a difference in your life and the lives of other members, our customers and the communities we serve.
This newsletter is for you, so give us your feedback on what you like or don't like about it. We have a dedicated members page on our Web site where you can post thoughts and share your own success stories or nominate a co-worker you feel has an interesting story to tell.
Thank you for continuing to represent a higher standard of excellence.
Sincerely,
John Topp, Executive Director
