Presentation at a National Conference
Once this issue hits the stands, Lyle Balistreri and Fred Kinateder, CLMC co-chairs will have presented at the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Services (FMCS) National Conference on June 10th. Their presentation on the Building Advantage campaign's successes is meant to inform federal mediators and commissioners on the benefits of forming an organization like the Construction Labor Management Council of Southeast Wisconsin (CLMC).
When labor and management sit at the same table to make decisions on union construction's future, it makes us stronger. Recognizing the need for similar organizations across the country, the CLMC's co-chairs worked together on the presentation to increase awareness among federal mediators on how to change negative perceptions surrounding union construction.
