SEWCTC Apprentices Give Back to the Community
The floor coverer apprentices of the Southeast Wisconsin Carpentry Training Center recently provided the labor to install new floor covering material for the St. Ann Center for Intergenerational Care in Milwaukee.

The floor covering material was donated by Building Service Inc. and SEWCTC floor covering instructor, Mark Olsen, used this as a training opportunity for the Local 344 apprentices. The students were able to learn the skills needed to remove existing floor covering materials, prepare the floor to receive the sheet goods and then scribe, install, and weld the seams for a water-proof surface.

Apprentices who participated in this project were William Brockman, Robert Frontczak, Armando Garcia, Adam Goetsch, Bradley Laven and Craig Rades.
