New Building Advantage Web Site Your “Go-to” Resource

Not everyone in this industry is a regular Internet user, but times are changing. Just look at how technology has changed today's job site – laptops replacing blue prints, project management software connecting hundreds of people in different places, GPS-enabled phones … and where would scheduling be without the trusty Blackberry?

While not all new technology is established overnight, the World Wide Web has become a best friend to our various customers. Construction buyers go online to read about or compare contractors while career seekers go online to look for opportunities. For these reasons and more, Building Advantage has revamped its Web site to be a more robust resource for visitors.

The new site features streaming news feeds, project and member spotlights, an expanded career section, a resource area, a contractor search tool and a member area with rewards.

“The goal was to make our Web site more useful and engaging, and I think we've accomplished that,” says John Topp, executive director of Building Advantage. “However, the site can only do its job if our members use it and promote it to career and contractor seekers.”
